What is the Science in Action program, and how does it work?
Science in Action is an inquiry-based, hands-on science learning program for Grades 6–10 that transforms regular classrooms into fully functional labs. Schools receive curriculum-aligned science kits, Questbooks, teacher handbooks, and digital simulations. Teachers follow structured lesson plans, while students conduct experiments, record observations, analyse results, and build scientific thinking - all aligned with NEP 2020 competencies.
Do we need a traditional science lab to implement Science in Action?
No. One of the program’s biggest strengths is its lab-in-classroom model. All experiments are designed to be performed safely inside any regular classroom using smart, indexed science kits. This makes it ideal for resource-limited schools, rural schools, and schools looking to expand STEM capacity without heavy infrastructure investment.
How is Science in Action aligned to CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula?
Every experiment, activity, and Questbook entry in Science in Action is mapped chapter-wise to the CBSE science curriculum, ICSE science activities, and major State board syllabi. Multilingual support, structured lesson integration, and competency-based assessments ensure smooth implementation across different school boards.
What training and support do teachers receive?
Teachers receive NEP 2020–aligned induction training, covering inquiry pedagogy, experiment facilitation, safety procedures, and classroom management for hands-on learning. Throughout the year, schools also receive ongoing support, refresher sessions, troubleshooting help, updated content, and access to the digital learning analytics dashboard to track progress.
What is included in the Science in Action kit?
Each grade receives:
Theme-based science kits (reusable + consumables)
Inquiry-Based Questbooks for students
Teacher Handbook with detailed experiment guidance
Digital content including videos, quizzes, and 45+ interactive simulations
Learning Analytics Dashboard through TiQer
Lesson plans, assessments, and evaluation tools
Together, these components create a complete experiential science ecosystem for Grades 6–10.
